Cuts to these programs are harming rural hospitals and kicking many Americans off their coverage. John will fight to expand Medicare and Medicaid access for more Americans in need of quality care.
- Bringing Back and Extending the ACA: The Affordable Care Act tax credits that were cut need to be restored so people can continue to afford their coverage. The more people with healthcare the healthier we all are as a country, which is why there should be a universal public healthcare option.
- Lowering Prescription Drug Prices: Negotiating lower drug prices and capping the cost of insulin for more Americans.
- Protecting a Woman’s Right to Choose: Cosponsoring the Women’s Health Protection Act to restore Roe v. Wade and increasing access to reproductive healthcare nationwide.
- Improving Access to Mental Health Services: Providing streamlined access to mental health support services and increasing the number of dual diagnosis beds.
